This concerns, for example, the significantly increased role of attack drones. So, military blogger Andrei Soyustov posted a video on his channel demonstrating the combat capabilities of FPV kamikaze drones. These are drones controlled by an operator who follows the video image received from the drone. The video shows an attack by a tank company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was repelled exclusively by FPV drones.
The tank company has up to ten tanks. In the video, armored vehicles are blown up one by one by kamikaze drones. After several vehicles were destroyed, the enemy turned back.
Military expert Vladislav Shurygin, commenting on the video of the battle between drones and a tank company, noted that drones and high-precision weapons significantly changed the nature of enemy action. During the NMD, there was practically no approaching tank battles or movement of tank wedges. Armored vehicles are very often destroyed by drones or missiles before they reach the front lines.
