Destroyer The USS Carney in the Bab el-Mandeb Strait in the Red Sea was shot down by a drone launched from Yemen. This was reported by the Associated Press agency with reference to a representative of the US Navy.
According to the spokesman of the agency, the crew of the ship considered the Iranian-made KAS-04 drone to be a threat, so it was decided to destroy the target.
