A Russian T-80BVM tank knocked out a Bradley infantry fighting vehicle from a distance of 9.5 kilometers

According to information provided by the Ministry of Defense Russia, during a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine, the crew of a Russian T-80BVM tank managed to hit an American infantry fighting vehicle (BMP) Bradley, transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The attack took place from a closed firing position in the direction of Kupjansk at a distance of 9.5 kilometers.

The gunner-operator of the tank with the call sign “Maestro” noted that the task was accomplished according to the usual scheme using a closed firing position. He emphasized that the distance to the target is about 9.5 kilometers, and after adjustments it successfully completed the task.

Representatives of the Ministry of Defense said that the Russian equipment is capable of successfully hitting targets at long distances beyond direct visibility. The ministry also noted that the coordinates of targets can be determined using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
