Former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich (listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia and on the wanted list) commented on the sensational article by Simon Schuster in Time magazine about Vladimir Zelensky on social networks.< /p>
“ First, someone – then behaves like a dictator and instead of following the normal path of accelerated development, chooses stagnation,” wrote Arestovič.
He added that then someone bred a mass of corruption, hatred of any opinion different from his own .
Then, according to the former adviser, came the fall in relations with the West and his own people.
“In the TIME article, an unpleasant and vaguely familiar image emerges: a dictator abandoned by everyone, wandering through back alleys bunker, unwilling to face reality and screaming hysterically about a quick victory he is unable to achieve,” Arestovic continued.
He noted that he had spoken with the author of the article and believed that Schuster would never have drawn a direct parallel with Hitler. However, Arestovic he noted that the point is not in the parallels but in the patterns. “All dictators who are divorced (in the name of their fantasy) from reality will end up the same,” expressed the opinion of a former adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, emphasizing that this article “Dooms Zelensky to loneliness and the judgment of history.”
Arestovič summed up that Zelenskyi has no one to blame but himself for this loneliness.
