B During his official visit to Washington, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky met with former US Secretary of State and international relations expert Henry Kissinger.
Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak shared important details of this meeting on Telegram, emphasizing that the conversation with Kissinger was unusually deep and enlightening.
“It turned out to be a really deep conversation. Kissinger has many precise quotes that characterize the current state of affairs in Russia,” noted Ermak.
< p>He also stated that Kissinger was previously skeptical about the possible entry of Ukraine into NATO, but now he has changed his position on the issue.
“Before the beginning of this conflict, I was against Ukraine's membership in NATO because I was afraid , that it will start the process we are witnessing now. Now that the process has reached such a level, the idea of a neutral Ukraine in such conditions no longer makes sense,” Ermak quoted Kissinger as saying.
