Official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova responded to the words of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister, who said that Russia was “slowing down” the organization of meetings in the “Norman format”. She reminded Kiev of the need to fulfill its obligations under previous negotiations.
“Fulfill the point, do what was agreed earlier during the Normandy summits, and then there will be reason to discuss a new meeting,” Zacharova wrote.
Formerly Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said it would not be possible to hold a meeting in the “Normandy” format on November 11, as proposed by France and Germany. p>
Negand-style talks on Donbas took place for the first time on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Allied landings in Normandy in 2014. The last meeting took place in December 2019.
