YouTube will continue to face controversy with Russia authorities, YouTube CEO Susan Wojicki said in an interview with Bloomberg TV and answered the question of whether Google will leave the Russian market when it left China.
“I think we want to provide the work and services of the audience as much as possible, including when there are problems with the authorities. (Society) will do everything to resolve (contradictions). If we can't … but I hope we will always continue to address what we can, “she said.
At the same time, Wojicki did not answer the question of whether YouTube removed the video at the request of the Russian authorities.
“Of course, we accept requests from the authorities and study why we received such a request, what's happening on the spot, and we make decisions based on a number of different factors,” she explained.
