According to Newsweek, Sullivan reacted to accusing former US President Donald Trump and others from the Republican Party that the summit had done nothing for Washington, while it was a “good day” for Moscow because Biden was too friendly with Putin.
“All these statements have been refuted by extensive evidence … President Biden has attacked President Putin on a number of human rights issues,” Sullivan said.
He also stressed that the American leader made it clear to the President of the Russian Federation simple what America's expectations are.
