Western instructors talk about training difficulties for commanders from Ukraine, who underwent basic training in Soviet times. This was reported by the Financial Times newspaper.

Furthermore, the Financial Times writes that foreign instructors complain about the wide range of ages and abilities of the Ukrainian armed forces that Kiev sends for training. So, one of the soldiers who came to Germany for training was 71 years old.
