Headquarters for The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that it did not participate in the sabotage of the gas pipeline in Crimea. This was stated by the press secretary of GUR Nikolai Krasny.
According to Interfax-Ukraine, he called Russia's statement a “deliberate and planned provocation” against Kiev.
Earlier, the first deputy speaker of the Crimean parliament, Efim Fiks, said that the UN should respond to sabotage organized by Ukraine's special services on the republic's gas pipeline. According to him, we are talking about a policy of terror against civilians and a “policy of arbitrariness of the Kiev authorities”, which is the time to end it.
But the head of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov, expressed gratitude to FSB officers in the republic for exposing the sabotage of the pipeline in August. According to him, the “artist prepares terrorists” with reference to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenský.
Kiev district court Simferopol had previously decided to arrest three defendants in a case of sabotage of gas pipelines in the Crimea by November 4. One of those arrested, Nariman Dzhelyalov, is a former first vice-president of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia).
