Ukrainian Champion in The Greco-Roman struggle and the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Zhan Beleniuk spoke about the attempted attack on the street in Kiev. He said about the incident on his Facebook page.
According to the athlete, a group of young people approached him and began trying to provoke conflict. They asked if Beleniuk knew anything about patriotism, called him a “monkey,” and suggested that he “go to Africa.”
At the post was an athlete and a representative whose father was a native of Rwanda, asked if he was Ukrainian for his country, and also about how safe the Olympic champion could feel at home.
In addition, he said, such offensive comments were unacceptable in a European country. In addition to a person who is ready to “lay down his life for celebration.”
Skabeeva published a photo with Beleniuk after the athlete Yaroslav Maguchikh was persecuted in Ukraine for a joint photo with her Russian colleague Maria Lasitskene. Beleniuk later said he did not know who he was taking pictures with.
