Ukrainian company Motor Sich has reached an agreement with the Turkish company Aselsan on modernization Mi-8 helicopters, on which new CATS optical sighting stations will be installed, similar to those used on Bayraktar TB2 and AKINCI drones.
It is also planned to integrate controlled ammunition (probably MAM-C/L) into the armament system of Ukrainian helicopters.
At the same time, according to materials of the Security Service of Ukraine by the decision of the Shevchenko District Court in Kiev property and shares of Motor Sich JSC, the largest manufacturer of aircraft engines in the country, were arrested. Based on the results of the judicial review, the assets were transferred to the administration of the National Agency of Ukraine for the Identification, Search and Management of Property Obtained from Corruption and Other Crime (ARMA) with the mandatory designation of a state-owned management company
