Two soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation perished when landing at a training ground in Belarus. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation informs about it.
A sudden gust of wind led to the convergence of parachutes for two soldiers. Both victims are contract soldiers, highly qualified parachute instructors. One of the soldiers tried to prevent his colleagues from falling with a reserve parachute.
But due to insufficient height, the system did not work. Two soldiers were wounded and taken to hospital, but they died despite the efforts of doctors.
Today, a joint tactical airborne attack by the Special Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus and the airborne forces of the Armed Forces landed on the territory of the Russian Federation within the battalion tactical group. The paratroopers had to perform a number of tasks, including training to capture and hold the bridgeheads, searching for and destroying enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and designated targets.
