Photo: Kremlin.ru. Turkey has reacted very jealous that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on December 21 banning the heads of regions from calling themselves presidents. The only region where the head of the region was called president was Tatarstan. In Turkey, he believes that in this way Putin has made an “outrageous” decision against the Turkish population and dealt a blow to the Turkish world.

As stated in the Turkish edition, Russia “is moving step by step and confidently towards its goal of becoming a superpower, from the Federation to the Tsarist times.” The author is outraged that the world is it just looks and that the organization of the Turkish states does not pay attention to these events.

The removal of the statute of the President of Tatarstan, the newspaper believes, means that in fact the head of the republic becomes the federal governor.

“Tatarstan has lost its special and autonomous position!” – stated in the publication.

The Turkish author is outraged by the fact that Russian is taught in higher grades and at universities in Russia in various regions, including national republics. “The goal is to bring the Russian Empire to life with assimilated nations,” the author writes, adding that the measures are being implemented gradually, but in the long run their impact will be seen by the entire Turkish world.

“December 21 is the day we completely lost the Republic of Tatarstan!” – reads at the end of the article

Turkish nationalist radicals are not abandoning their attempts to divide relations between the peoples of Russia. In the meantime, in the Tatarstan itself, the president's signing of the local government law took place calmly.
