Fontanka learned about the details of the interrogation of Daria Trepova, suspected of killing the military correspondent Vladlen Tatarsky.
During the interrogation, Trepova said that she read many Ukrainian telegrams where she met with the “right” ones, an activist who offered her to move to Kyiv and become an editor of a media source.
And the “internship” of the future editor looked like this: first, Trepova was asked to go to the Foliage bookstore; and get acquainted with Tatarsky. She should have sent photographic proof. She coped with the task.
Then she was asked to come to Moscow and pick up the package. Trepová went to the capital by taxi. The driver did not know the purpose of the transport, the publication reports.
Třepová also stated that the improvised explosive device was ordered via Telegram — anonymously, through intermediaries.
Back in St. Petersburg, Trepová was supposed to meet Vladlen Tatarsky in a cafe on the Universitetská embankment, hand him a statuette and tell him something about the heroes of the Wagner PMC.

For this, she was promised that she would buy a ticket to Uzbekistan in the evening of the same day and from there she would be transferred to Ukraine.
Trepová said that she allegedly did not know about the bomb. She had to be near the statue all the time to create an alibi. She sent messages to customers about the progress of the order. And she realized that she was “prepared”, she realized that the explosion was going to kill more people and herself.
How the bomb was activated will be determined by explosives experts during the investigation. < /p> < p> On Sunday, there was an explosion in a cafe on the Universitetskaya embankment in St.-Petersburg. A recital by Military Commissar Vladlen Tatarsky (real name Maxim Fomin) was held in the premises.
The ICR classified the explosion as a terrorist attack and Darja Trepová was detained on suspicion of having committed it. According to the ministry, the suspect supported the views of FBK (an organization recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
NAC said on Monday that the attack was planned and organized in Ukraine. The investigation will reveal all participants in the criminal chain.
