US National Security Council Strategic Communications Coordinator John Kirby said that the way out of the situation around Ukraine must be found through diplomacy.
In an interview with ABC News, Kirby announced what exactly the White House thinks should happen. “Both sides must find a way out through negotiations,” – he said, pointing out that the process should proceed “peacefully and diplomatically”. At the same time, Kirby claims that Washington does not see serious intentions on the part of Moscow regarding negotiations with Kiev.
The day before, the Russian Foreign Ministry stated again: our country is ready for negotiations with Ukraine. At the same time, it was emphasized that the selection of residents of the four regions will not be discussed at these meetings.
