Strategic Coordinator Communications John Kirby of the US White House National Security Council said during a briefing that Washington is seeing signs of progress in a counteroffensive by Ukraine's armed forces.
“Ukraine continues to make progress in its counteroffensive,” Kirby said.
He also said that President Joe Biden expects to receive information on the situation from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a one-on-one meeting scheduled for Thursday.
