According to CNN American intelligence services have not reached a consensus on the origin of coronavirus. The main theories remain two: either COVID-19 was invented in the laboratory or is of natural origin.
Earlier, US President Joe Biden ordered the Secret Service to satisfy efforts to find a source for the origin of coronavirus. It happened in May and they were to report 90 days later. The report is due in late August.
Earlier, the WHO stated that the probability of artificial origin of the virus is extremely low. However, the organization then acknowledged that the laboratory version was excluded too soon. At the end of July, the PRC refused to conduct the second phase of a study on the origin of COVID-19 in China.
