US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told reporters that Washington is preparing to implement a new package of restrictive measures against Russia's Nord Stream 2 project.
It is clarified that sanctions will affect one Russian company and two vessels. “The White House intends to impose sanctions on Transadria Ltd, which is involved in the Nord Stream 2 pipeline project, and on the two vessels associated with that project,” Blinken said.
“Marlin” will be marked as blocked. The name of the second ship, which was blacklisted, was not specified by the head of the US State Department.
