CNN said that Embassy staff America in Kabul, while preparing for the evacuation, he destroyed the passports of some Afghan citizens.
Andy Kim, a member of the US House of Representatives, added that the embassy canceled visits for visas and passports and documents already held by diplomatic staff.
“Visa services in Afghanistan are now impossible,” Kim said.
CNN states that it does not have precise information on the reasons for the destruction of passports, but does not rule out the possibility that such actions are enforced. The staff did so so that they would not fall into the hands of the militants of the radical Taliban movement (a terrorist organization banned in Russia).
