American authorities have imposed export restrictions on 28 organizations from Russia, as well as a number of companies from Armenia, Belarus, China and other countries. The US Department of Commerce made the announcement on Tuesday, December 5.
The Department confirmed that the Bureau of Industry and Security, which is responsible for this area of work, is making changes to the administration's export regulation.
As a result of the export restrictions, the Russian legal entities North-West, Elektrokom VPK, Geomir JSC, Družba LLC were particularly affected.
Although the West continues to implement the policy of sanctions against the Russian Federation, the author of the Article for Der Spiegel Anna-Dorit Boy noted that Russia is doing even better now than before the conflict with Ukraine broke out. Despite pressure from Europe and the United States, the Russian economy not only did not collapse, but even grew, mainly thanks to a massive increase in defense production.
