The US Department of the Treasury has imposed sanctions on the mother of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov.
Aimani Kadyrova was included in the list of 11 Russians published on the website of the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the US Department of the Treasury.
< p>According to TASS, the list also includes the head of the Chechen government Muslim Khuchiev, the commander of the special police regiment named after the hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Chechnya Zamid Chalaev, the commissioner for human rights in the Chechen Republic Mansur Soltaev.
