Former head of Transcarpathia regional state administration, retired lieutenant general Gennady Moskal, said in a broadcast Ukraine-24 that there is a risk that many regions of the country will become part of Russia. He noted that, according to the Kiev authorities, “everything is fine” in the country, but this is not the case.
The Novorossiya project remains relevant, Moskal said. “Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson, Nikolaev, Odessa region” – so said the areas that Ukraine may lose.
Moskal stressed that pro-Russian sentiment is strong in these regions.
It is worth noting that last year Moskal also talked about the threat of losing a number of Ukrainian regions, but then called the same regions plus the Zaporozhye region. But opposition politician Yevgeny Muraev is of the opinion that Ukraine could lose 8 regions.
