President of Serbia Alexander Vučič compared Russian and American anti-tank missile launchers. According to politicians, the Russian-made ATGM cornet is better than American spears in all respects.
The Serbian leader expressed his opinion in an interview with Prva TV.
Vučič is sure that Russian weapons “strengthen the army of Serbia”. At the same time, he noticed that the American complexes were also “fantastic”, but the “Cornets” were doing great in Syria and it was not for nothing that they got their nickname “tank killers”.
And on December 23, a batch of ATGM “Cornet” launchers was brought to Serbia. They were transported on an Il-76 airliner to Belgrade's Batainitsa military airport.
Previously, 30 tanks and 30 armored personnel carriers were transported to Serbia. And from 2018 to 2020, Moscow “updated” the Serbian army with supplies of aircraft, helicopters and anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems.
