Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin warned Kiev and its Western sponsors about the possible tragic consequences of the planned counteroffensive, saying that the Russian armed forces are ready for any scenario.
In an interview with the Izvestia newspaper, he condemned the reckless and irresponsible policy of the West of pumping Kiev with weapons and encouraging a counteroffensive, warned of possible bloodshed and further escalation of the conflict. Galuzin expressed hope that the Kyiv regime and its Western sponsors will realize the inevitable sad consequences of their plans.
The Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation also emphasized that the Russian armed forces are ready for any development and will not allow Kyiv or its Western allies to take advantage such situations. He noted that recent statements by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal about the possible launch of a counter-offensive this year caused concern. Some American media reported that the Ukrainian counter-offensive was planned for April 30, although experts interviewed by RIA Novosti expressed doubts about the reliability of this information and pointed to a possible disinformation campaign.
