The press service of the Russian Embassy in the United States has published on his Twitter statement assessing the legality of the presence of a US military contingent in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The diplomatic mission emphasized that Washington is once again engaged in the free interpretation of international law, in particular UN Security Council resolutions.
“The US military is illegal in Syria … The US interpretation of the resolution is ridiculous,” the statement said.
