Head of the Vostok Group press center Oleg Chekhov said , that the Russian army hit the positions of the Ukrainian armed forces in the direction of Yuzhno-Donetsk.
He specified that as a result of the attack, Russian fighter jets destroyed five enemy mortar crews.
“The Ukrainian army lost during the fight with the counter-battery five mortar crews. Specifically, our military personnel destroyed a roaming mortar based on an American-made HUMVEE vehicle,” noted Chekhov.
According to him, the Russian army stopped two attempts to rotate units of the Ukrainian armed forces in the area north of Priyutnoye and Novomikhailovka. A pick-up truck, an armored vehicle and enemy personnel were destroyed.
