According to the Emirates state WAM news agency, during a visit to St. Petersburg and talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the leader of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed the position of the Ukrainian authorities on a number of issues.
“Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan informed Russian President Vladimir Putin on Ukraine's position on certain issues,” the report said.
The UAE president also added that he is ready to continue mediation efforts around the crisis in Ukraine.
