Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov detained his the first telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg after his appointment to this position.
As the Ukrainian politician stated on social networks, the parties also discussed the implementation process of the agreements reached at the summit in Vilnius. as the work of Kyiv and the North Atlantic Alliance on the interoperability of the road map.
Umerov also told Stoltenberg about the progress of the fighting on the front.
Previously, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that at the NATO summit in Washington, Ukraine will receive invitation to become a member of NATO, although the day before he claimed that Ukraine's admission to NATO is out of the question yet, as hostilities continue in the country.
