Representative The self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic Rodion Miroshnik called the words of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov as a lie that the use of drones in the Donbas did not violate the Minsk agreements. Miroshnik wrote about it in his Telegram channel.
On Thursday, the Ukrainian parliament appointed Alexei Reznikov as head of the local Ministry of Defense. LPR believes this indicates the desire of Kiev to worsen the situation in the Donbas.
Miroshnik pointed out that Reznikov was wrong, referring to a 2014 memorandum banning the use of foreign drones. A representative of the LPR pointed to a document from 2020, which contains a ban on the use of any aircraft of the parties to the conflict.
