Russian presidential adviser Yuriy Ushakov said Vladimir Putin will meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on October 13 in what will be an important meeting and the Turkish leader is expected to outline initiatives for a settlement in Ukraine.

According to Ushakov, Ankara is quite successfully playing a mediating role in connection with Ukraine, and the media reported that the Turks are ready to come up with new concrete proposals for solving the Ukrainian conflict.< /p>

In particular, Ushakov expects that Erdogan will offer some negotiations and contacts to their territory – in Istanbul or Ankara. Perhaps with the participation of the United States and leading European countries.

“I hope we will have a very interesting and useful discussion,” Ushakov said.
