Peskov said no one put forward the idea of an Easter ceasefire in Ukraine

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov answered a question about whether the idea of an Easter truce with Kyiv is being discussed in the Kremlin and whether such a truce makes sense.
"It was not presented,'' said Peskov , when he spoke about the idea of an Easter ceasefire.
He recalled that Moscow itself presented initiatives and stuck to them, but faced the reluctance of the Ukrainian leadership to follow such a regime.
At the same time, the head of the Kremlin press service noted, that Holy Week has just begun.
