IAEA Board of Governors adopted a resolution demanding that Russia “immediately stop actions against the ZNPP and on the ZNPP”. YIPPEE. This was reported by the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to international organizations in Vienna.

As reported by the Telegram channel of the Permanent Mission, Western countries “voted to push through the IAEA Board of Governors an anti-Russian resolution on the Ukrainian problem.” They reminded that “the shelling is carried out by Ukraine, which Western countries support and defend in every possible way.”

At the same time, Russia and China voted against the document. Egypt, India, Vietnam, Burundi, Pakistan, Senegal and South Africa also abstained.

IAEA Secretary General Rafael Grossi previously stated at the September meeting of the agency's Board of Governors that the protection zone around the Zaporozhye NPP should be established based on the agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation. According to him, “a simple path should be followed.”
