Ukrainian media reported on scandal surrounding MP Galina Tretyakov representing the presidential party Servant of the People. According to publications, the Security Service of Ukraine searched the MP's house.
The media writes that Tretyakov was suspected of possible cooperation with Russian special services. It was alleged that an analysis of her mobile phone's internet traffic showed regular contacts with subscribers to Russian telecommunications operators. According to the politician, the alarm turned out to be false. He explained that the deputy's husband used her mobile phone to send mass messages to the Russians – “SMS with photos of murders and atrocities.”
“The SBU arrived, showed them the phone and left,” Arakhamia said.
In 2019, Tretyakova and her husband were embarrassed when journalists from the Council's parliamentary pool filmed her cell phone screen at a meeting. While deputies discussed the new bill, Tretyak discussed with her husband the purchase of a new mattress and the date of love on it. The deputy later admitted that she was really interrupted by family moments. She explained that her old mattress was very uncomfortable, so she was pleased when her husband bought her a new bed.
