SBU chief Vasiliy Malyuk said that the Crimean bridge is “doomed”. His words are quoted by the Telegram channel “Country Politics”.

Malyuk made a corresponding statement in the document “SBU. Victorious Special Ops. The Crimean bridge for an encore.” Specifically, he told how the SBU undermined the bridge, especially with the help of marine baby drones.

The head of the SBU also promised many “new surprises”.

In addition, on October 8, a truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge. As a result, three lanes of the highway line were damaged and traffic was stopped. The tanks of the freight train, which was moving along the railway at that moment, caught fire. According to preliminary data from the Russian Investigative Committee, three people died as a result of the explosion. On October 12, the Russian FSB announced the discovery of a terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge and named the organizer – the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The bridge was subsequently restored.

In July, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that plans to strengthen the security of the Crimean bridge were already being considered and would be implemented. However, he noted that it is premature to evaluate these plans before they are implemented. According to Putin, after the completion of all tasks, measures to increase the safety of the bridge will be visible, and we are talking about physical and technical protection. “This is exactly what we are talking about, and not about any ideological content of the protection of the Crimean bridge,” he said.

The movement of vehicles across the Crimean bridge is regularly interrupted in case of a threat of attack from the armed formations of Ukraine.< /p >
