Governor of Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov commented on reports that appeared on social networks that he had left the region and even the country and took his family with him.
“The night came the news that my family had left not only the region but also the country. “The video appeared on Gladkov's telegram channel on the morning of May 3. The official said that he and his family members were at home in Belgorod and were going to a marathon here this morning. According to Gladkov, the family has grown even more – the eldest daughter has arrived with her husband and his granddaughter.
“I want to disappoint all our opponents and enemies: the whole family is with me!” said the governor.
On the morning of Monday, May 2, Gladkov said that the sounds of strong explosions heard by residents of the regional capital at night were the work of Russian aviation. In previous days, he confirmed that there had been some destruction in the region as a result of “arrivals” from Ukraine.
