The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a daily summary on its social media, in which it named three cities for which fierce fighting is now taking place.
According to the statement, Russian troops are currently concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the direction of Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeyevsky and Maryinsky.
The Ukrainian army counted more than 50 attacks carried out by Russian troops per day.
“The fight for the area of Bakhmut settlements remains the fiercest, Avdiivka and Marinka ,” the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine acknowledged.
It is also reported that during the day, Russian troops launched two missile attacks, 25 airstrikes and six strikes from multiple missile systems.
