Former Representative of the Supreme council Yevgeny Muraev said that in the near future there may be a shortage of gas in Ukraine. The politician made a corresponding statement on the air of the television channel “NASH”.

He specified that it will be “extremely difficult for Ukraine to survive the coming winter” due to the lack of direct contact with Moscow.

“Gas, which we will only be able to borrow from Gazprom, it is therefore necessary to start direct negotiations. But how to do it? We can't, we have a war. And we can't even solve the war, “Muraev remarked.

According to him, Ukraine is currently forced to buy Russian gas from Slovakia at higher prices.
