Anton Furgal, son of the former governor Sergei Furgal, who is in Lefortovo remand on charges of organizing the murder of businessmen and attempted murder, has been denied a nomination as a State Duma candidate.
According to the Khabarovsk Territory, the Electoral Commission Anton Furgal submitted 15,789 signatures in support of them as a self-proclaimed candidate in the State Duma elections in Komsomolsk's 70-member constituency, but 48.2% of the total number proved verified to be invalid and unreliable.
