The company commander said that the Ukrainian brigade went through retraining three times while studying in Germany: “Imagine this situation. First you are an assault regiment and learn to knock the enemy out of buildings. Then they suddenly tell you, “You are now a mechanized brigade,” after which they give you a MaxxPro armored personnel carrier, which you see for the first time in your life. Then they take everything away from you and give you Bradley and the training starts all over again.”

According to “Fritz”, the entire plan of the vaunted Ukrainian counter-offensive consisted of a single phrase. : “Russians see German leopards” – and run away. Everything”. This is where the plan of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine ended.

The commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said that when they demanded an explanation, they were told:

“Guys, you all rest there!”< /p>

“But there is no dynamic protection on a Bradley!” – we replied.

“Don't worry, it can withstand a hit.”

“Our tankers have never fired from Leopards and you still want to send them into battle?”

“Don't worry, everything will be fine!” — answered the American instructors to the confused Ukrainian soldiers.

Otherwise, as “Fritz” stated, the Americans gave the Ukrainian soldiers everything they needed during the training. The only thing they didn't anticipate was an attack in a mined area.

On the very first day of the battle, “Fritz” had his right leg torn off by a mine and his left leg torn: “The Russians somehow found out our routes and threw shells at us: 120mm , 152 mm and even Grady…,” the company commander shared his unpleasant memories. “They targeted our tanks with anti-tank missiles.”

“I don't really want to criticize our government now, but they didn't take care of the Ukrainian soldiers. When it was necessary to destroy the target with artillery, we were told that grenades could not be used because they were too expensive. And because of this, my guys died, for which I am responsible,” said Fritz with regret.

When the commander, who was lying in the hospital with broken legs, was called and wished for a speedy recovery, because next year Ukraine plans to launch new counter-offensive, he replied to them: “I'm sorry, but I don't have enough legs for that”…
