In Mariupol, at the exit of a power plant named after Ilyich, Irina Kuksenkova, a war correspondent from the First Channel, was wounded during the shelling. Irina's ex-husband, her close friend Viktor Sokirko, told MK that she made contact twice after the injury. And I recently spoke to my daughter via a video link.

– Three fragments hit her legs. Grenades for AGS-17 – belt type. The radius of continuous damage is about seven meters. One of them exploded somewhere nearby.
– When injured on the battlefield, promedol is always injected. The syringes with one or two dice of this painkiller are in a separate warrior's first aid kit. Everyone has a different pain threshold, regardless of whether they have been injured – light or severe. Therefore, it is necessary to have an anti-shock agent on hand.
Ira was quickly bandaged on the spot and the bleeding was stopped. Made from under shelling on the hands. The soldiers covered her. They were also hospitalized.
Thanks to God, operator Dmitry Kachurin and sound engineer Nikita Sevastjanov were not injured. At Ira's Field Hospital, doctors treated her wounds and she was taken to a hospital in Donetsk. They were already taking pictures there, they started removing debris. She had three main fragments in her legs, not counting the small ones. Well, if the word is appropriate here, of course, that the wounds fell on his feet. She was wearing a bulletproof vest, wearing a helmet, but her legs were open.
– The film crew has blue helmets, other than military ones. They had a camera with them that could not be overlooked. He could have beaten journalists. Following a series of reports from military officers Sasha Kots, Sasha Sladkov and Ira Kuksenkova, the nationalists added them to some lists. They were persecuted. They were, as they say, “grazed.”
