Retired US Army Lt. Gen. Joseph Kellogg said in an interview with Fox News that by providing most of the military aid to Kiev, Washington is becoming a party to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
“Since we gave them they started sending weapons like HIMARS and MLRS, we said we don't want to become a side that expands the scope of the conflict,” the general recalled, admitting that he thinks it's crazy that the United States provides 75% of humanitarian, economic and military aid to Ukraine.
< p>Earlier it was revealed that the United States included ammunition for the HIMARS MLRS in another package of military aid to Kiev. The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive 36,000 105mm artillery shells and a thousand 155mm high-precision artillery shells.
In addition, Ukraine will receive radars, anti-drone systems, mine clearance equipment, night vision equipment, small arms and insulated winter uniforms for army.
