Deputies of the State Duma Sergej Sokol and Igor Kastyukevich of the United Russia faction have filed a request to end their parliamentary powers.
The released documents say that the issue of removing the powers of the deputies will be discussed on September 19. It is reported that the Commission for Monitoring the Reliability of Information on Income and Assets has already supported the request of Sokol and Kastyukevich.
Sokol had previously run for the head of Khakassia, but shortly before the sl. announced his withdrawal on election day due to deteriorating health. Kastyukevich is the secretary of the branch of United Russia in the Kherson region.
