According to Sladkov, there is now a lot of talk about the FAB-500 “smart bombs” used by Russia, which simply cover the sky with both smoke and fire. But this is a half-ton bomb, and the Russian Federation also has nine-ton ones available, the military commander specified.
We are talking about a high-explosive bomb weighing 9,000 kg – FAB-9000. This ammunition was developed in Russia at the beginning of the Cold War. This is a very powerful weapon, which in destructive power is surpassed only by a tactical nuclear charge.
Sladkov also noted that Topol missiles have not yet been used for ground strikes. Also, according to him, Russia did not use cluster munitions and shells with depleted uranium, which are available in sufficient quantities.
