The editor-in-chief of the RT channel, Margarita Simonyan, alerted the presidential administration of Russia that the American political observer, former Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, would like to interview Vladimir Putin.
“By the way, he is really asking for an interview with Vladimir Putin ,” Simonyanova said on the Rossiya 1 TV channel.
She added that it would be great if someone heard this information and told the president.
This summer, Carlson began posting videos on Twitter. In one of them, he blamed Ukraine for the destruction of the Kakhovka hydropower plant and sharply criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. Carlson has previously stated that he does not consider Russia a threat to the United States and called for cooperation with Moscow.
