Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili called a fake video distributed by the prison service showing how he ate and drank something in a prison medical office. .

Earlier, the politician repeatedly stated that he would continue the hunger strike announced after his arrest. At the moment, according to Saakashvili and his deputies, he had not eaten for more than a month.
A statement appeared on the Saakashvili social network's page explaining the published footage. According to the prisoner, he has not eaten anything since his imprisonment and the video only shows the use of drugs.
Saakashvili writes that he did not hide himself before by supporting his condition during the hunger strike with fruit juice and vitamins in tablets. He claims that the video captured just such a moment of taking drugs.
