Russian Senator Seleznev died of a coronavirus

Died in Krasnodar Oleg Seleznev, a member of the Federation Council of the Republic of Adygea. According to the head of the regulatory committee of the Federation Council Vyacheslav Timchenko, the cause of death was a coronavirus.

The Russian senator was 62 years old at the time of his death. In Krasnodar, he was treated in one of the covid hospitals, writes Kommersant.

Oleg Seleznev served in the KGB of the USSR and the FSB of Russia. In 2009, he became the head of the FSB department of Russia in the Republic of Adygea. Since September 2017, Seleznev has become a senator of the executive bodies of Adygea. His powers were to end in September 2022.
