diplomats in Western countries have begun to face discrimination . Their vaccination against coronavirus given by the national vaccine is not recognized. Accordingly, they have been denied access to public transportation and official institutions in the United States and many European countries.
Grigory Lukyanev, commissioned by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation for Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law, told reporters. He stressed that QR codes had been issued to European diplomats vaccinated with national vaccines in Russia. And in their professional activities, the staff of diplomatic missions have not been restricted.
According to Lukjantsev, Moscow does not yet see the upcoming movement from the West. He added that the Russian Federation raises this issue in negotiations with Western countries, but “very often there are references to certification through the WHO.”
And this is a very slow process. What is happening now, Lukyantsev called discrimination based on the properties of the vaccine.
