Black Sea Fleet Aviation led combat training flights. .. The Russian army did this against the background of the NATO exercise that took place in the region. 10 aircraft were involved in training flights.
Crews flew over the Black Sea and worked out tasks of bombing and rocket attacks on ships of the imaginary enemy. The training was also attended by the Aviation of the Southern Military District.
Multi-role fighters Su-30SM and front bombers Su-24M, fighter bombers Su-34 and fighters Su-27 participated in the air. The crew of the Be-2 amphibious aircraft surveyed the water surface. The former amphibious assault ships Saratov and Orsk acted as a feigned enemy.
