National Interest states that Russian and Chinese ambassadors in Washington have opposed the democracy summit scheduled for December. The event will take place in the United States.
It is clarified that diplomats believe that the summit will cause unnecessary confrontation in international relations. The ambassadors believe that the main topic of the meeting will be criticism of “undemocratic” states.
Russia's diplomatic mission reminded that democracy is not owned by one country. The ambassadors called for them to leave the summit.
